All our libraries and reading cafes will be closed on Wednesday 13 November for our annual staff conference, any books due back on this date will be extended until the following day.
Christmas and New Year opening hours
We will be closed Tuesday 24th December until Wednesday 1st January inclusive. York, Clifton, Acomb and Tang Hall Explore and some of our reading cafes will have limited opening between Christmas and New Year, please see webpages for for more information. The Community Stadium will be open for self service as per the centres opening hours.

You can use a PC. Please use our booking webpage to book a session. You’ll need your library card number and PIN to log in. Alternatively just give us a ring to book a session.
If you still love reading. but find it difficult to get to your local library, our Home Library Service offers you the chance to get the books that you love to read delivered straight to your door.

What’s on at Fulford Library
All activities are free unless otherwise stated.
Under 5s Storytime: Every Saturday 10.30-11.00am drop-in.
Wednesday Reading Group: Third Wednesday of the month 6:45 – 7:45pm
Duplo Drop-In: First Friday of the month 2:15 – 3:15pm
Booksale: The third Thursday and Friday of each month.
Lego Club: The last Friday of each month 3.30-4.30pm
Craft & Chat: The last Saturday of the month 10:30am – 12pm
Consultation Sessions 19 and 20 November from 3.30pm – 6.30pm. Due to the development of Germany Beck, Fulford School is oversubscribed and City of York Council propose to build additional classrooms and make other alterations to improve the school site. All parents, members of the community and library customers are welcome to drop in for a hot drink, to see the plans and to share any questions or feedback they may have.
