At Explore we are proud to take staff wellbeing seriously. As a mutual society, owned by our staff and members of the community, we are committed to listening to our Explore team and acting on suggested improvements wherever possible. Our staff advisory group chaired by the staff director continually develops ideas to improve our health and wellbeing and reward and recognition offer for staff.

Here is the current range of benefits available for our team:

Leave: 24 days leave each year plus 8 bank holidays (pro rata for part-time working). Maternity, Paternity, Dependent and Compassionate Leave. Study and Training Leave. Additional Leave after 5 years continuous service.

Extra leave and leave surrender scheme: If you choose, you may buy up to 5 extra days leave or surrender up to 4 days for additional pay.

Pension scheme: You will be enrolled into our Nest pension scheme – you will contribute 5% and Explore will contribute 10%. This is a defined contribution scheme and full details will be provided when you join Explore.
