Books are loaned for 3 weeks and you can either renew books online or in a library.

We appreciate family life can be chaotic at times, so we do not charge fines if you are late returning your books.  However, we do ask that whenever possible you renew your books or return them on time.

Babies and young children love it when you chat and read with them, even if you think they’re too young to understand.

Board books are ideal for babies and toddlers as they are sturdier than paperbacks and are designed to fit little hands. Don’t worry if sometimes they are also a perfect fit for little mouths, we understand this happens – please just let us know when you return them if a book is damaged.

We have a wide range of colourful picture books for your child to enjoy, these are an ideal way to introduce your child to new things, as well as a chance for laughing and talking together.

Choose the right moment and get yourselves comfortable, remove distractions and settle down for a story. There’s no right or wrong way to enjoy a story together but if you’d like some tips, here are a couple of useful sites to help you out.
