We regret to announce that due to low use e-magazines will no longer be available after 31 August.  Please note that this decision does not affect e-books or e-audiobooks, which are extremely popular.  We still see the potential of e-magazines, and will consider re-introducing them at a later date, particularly if & when it becomes possible for us to host e-magazines alongside e-books and e-audiobooks in one platform, which we feel would give e-magazines the best chance of reaching a wide audience.  We apologise to any customers using the e-magazines for this disappointing news.

  1. What a shame – this was a nice service to have, even though the selection of magazines wasn’t as comprehensive as some of the London Libraries.

  2. I understand your decision but personally I loved the access to e-magazines and used it regularly. I hope there is opportunity to bring it back in the future. Best wishes

  3. I was a weekly user of these, I will miss them terribly. One of my most valued services from the library – very surprised that the usage was so low.
